Parmesan Muffins

Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour

½ cup shredded Parmesan Cheese

1 T. sugar

1 T. Italian seasoning

3 tsp baking powder

1 tsp salt

1 egg

¾ cup milk

½ cup vegetable oil

 

Garlic Butter

¼ cup (1/2 stick) butter, softened

½ tsp garlic powder

 

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line muffin pan with paper liners. Set aside

In medium bowl, combine flour, cheese, sugar, seasoning, baking powder and salt and whisk.

In a separate small bowl, combine the egg, milk and oil with a mix till completely combined.

Stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until moistened.

Divide the batter evenly across prepared muffin cups. Bake 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool for five minutes.

Meanwhile, combine the garlic butter spread to serve with the warm muffins.

Yields 12 muffins.
