French Toast

Ingredients:

12 eggs

4 ½ cups half and half or milk

1 ½ tsp nutmeg

3 tsp vanilla extract

3 tsp sugar

Pinch of salt

18 slices of bread

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Whisk together all ingredients in a large bowl.

Heat the griddle.

Heat a tablespoon of extra butter in a nonstick pan or griddle.

Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture (about 15-20 seconds submerged in egg mixture) and immediately place on the griddle.

Cook each slice of bread for 2-3 minutes on each side, as it gets golden brown.

Transfer onto a baking cooking sheet and put in the oven to keep warm and to puff up! Continue until all bread is cooked.
